Service Description
Students will build foundational knowledge of Afrofuturism, Sankofa, futures thinking, and culturally grounded innovation. Hour one includes guided literacy practice that takes place inside Usomaji House, ADA’s interactive reading and learning website. During the STEAM portion in hour two, students complete the FutureScope project website by identifying a community need, interviewing a family member, planning a future technology, building a prototype, and presenting how their invention could help create a better future. Price includes math assessment, customized help and parent support/report.
